Sabato on Gaffes
Regarding politicians' gaffes, Larry Sabato said something the other day that I couldn't agree with more strongly:
But, he adds, "if any of us had a camera on us 24 hours a day, the list of mistakes would be longer than our arms."
Forget 24 hours. I bet I say something that's sufficiently inarticulate so as to disqualify me from major political office every 24 minutes.
