Watch Wisconsin Board Scan Recall Signatures

Welcome to "democracy in action," as the Wisconsin State Journal called it: the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board is livestreaming Thursday morning its efforts to review more than 300,000 pages of signatures for a petition to recall Gov. Scott Walker.

The location of the review has not been disclosed to the public or the media, according to the State Journal, but interested persons can hop on their laptops or iPhones to observe the process online at this link. (Video cannot be embedded.)

Earlier this week, opponents of the governor said they delivered more than 1 milllion signatures to force the recall of Walker, according to the State Journal, more than double the number of signatures needed. Petitions were also filed to recall Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch and three Republican state senators.

The signatures must be verified before a date will be set for a recall election, according to the newspaper.
