Share of Americans who say it is unacceptable for the government to pressure broadcasters to remove shows it disagrees with, according to a new Economist/YouGov poll. Just 13 percent said such intervention is acceptable and 19 percent were unsure. The survey also found 48 percent of respondents disapproved of ABC’s decision to pull Jimmy Kimmel’s show from television, while 36 percent approved.
