Compensation the U.S. Department of Justice is seeking in a lawsuit against Uber, accusing the company of discriminating against passengers with disabilities. Prosecutors allege drivers routinely refused rides to people with service animals or mobility devices, imposed unlawful surcharges and failed to adapt policies in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
