$100 million

The amount Idaho has requested annually from the federal government to bolster rural health care through a new grant created by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. The five-year grant program allocates $25 billion to states based on need, on top of $25 billion divided equally among all 50 states. Idaho expects to receive $500 million from its base share and is seeking an additional $500 million through competitive grants, totaling $1 billion over five years.
