Andrew Feldman is a director in the public-sector practice at Grant Thornton. His work focuses on helping public-sector organizations use evidence, data and innovation to better achieve their missions. He also hosts the Gov Innovator podcast, with more than 160 interviews for results-focused leaders.
Feldman's prior positions include visiting fellow at the Center for Children and Families at the Brookings Institution, special adviser on the Evidence Team at the White House Office of Management and Budget in the Obama administration (including a year-long detail to the U.S. Department of Education), one of the top three appointed leaders at Wisconsin’s labor department, senior policy adviser in the Office of Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle, staff economist at the White House Council of Economic Advisers in the Clinton administration, and special assistant to the president at the social-policy research firm MDRC.
Feldman earned his undergraduate degree in economics from Swarthmore College and his master's degree and Ph.D. in public policy from Harvard University. He is a fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration.
