Bill to Ban Jobs from Requesting Facebook Passwords Passes Illinois House



The Illinois House passed a measure prohibiting employers from asking prospective employees to provide passwords to their personal accounts on social networking sites. Last week, two U.S. senators called on Attorney General Eric Holder to investigate whether the practice is against federal law.
