Number of Venezuelan migrants in the United States whose temporary protected status was ended earlier this year by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. On Jan. 4, a day after the American forces captured Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife and brought them to the U.S. to face criminal charges, Noem said the Venezuelans who had been under temporary protected status can apply for refugee status.
