Share of Americans who say any voter should be allowed to cast a ballot by mail if they choose, according to the Pew Research Center. The support is sharply divided by party: 83 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents favor no-excuse vote-by-mail, while 68 percent of Republicans and GOP-leaning independents oppose it.
