The amount Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves is requesting from the state Legislature to use for incentives for a proposed factory that would manufacture electric vehicle batteries and employ about 2,000 people in Marshall County. The jobs at the proposed factory would pay an average salary of $66,000 annually, according to Reeves.
