The amount that Maine is proposing using for outdoor trail network improvements, under a proposal from conservationists before state lawmakers. The funds would be used to design, develop and maintain the state’s extensive network of both motorized and non-motorized trails. There are more than 14,000 miles of snowmobile trails alone across Maine.
