Population growth in Princeton, Texas, between 2023 and 2024, making it the fastest-growing city or town in the country, according to new Census Bureau estimates. Just over 37,000 people lived in Princeton, a town about an hour northeast of Dallas, as of July 1, 2024 — more than double the 18,000 residents there at the start of the decade. Of the 15 fastest-growing cities and towns in the country, seven are in Texas.
