The number of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) employees who will be working in Alexandria, Va. HUD put its Washington, D.C., headquarters up for sale in April, pointing to its “ugliness” and high operating and maintenance costs. HUD Secretary Scott Turner and Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin announced the department’s move across the Potomac River this week.
