Elon Musk tweeted, in response to the impacts of Russia’s invasion into Ukraine on the global oil and gas industries. Many Republicans are in favor of increasing domestic production of oil and gas to reduce Russian imports, but some Democrats are concerned that doing so would impact the global supply chain, increasing oil and gas prices, and financially straining American households.
