I just love to sit in my office and make up ways so they’ll write these stupid stories because they are just so stupid.

Maine Republican Gov. Paul LePage, complaining about the media for reporting that he was planning to leave the state when the government was shut down last week. LePage left lawmakers voicemails that said he was "heading out of town" -- but the governor later said he was lying in order to get lawmakers to call him back sooner.
