The average amount that consumers plan to spend on gifts and holiday items, which remains on trend with the last 10 years despite increased prices due to inflation. The National Retail Federation predicted that holiday retail sales during November and December this year would be between $942.6 billion and $960.4 billion, a 6 to 8 percent increase from last year’s spending. The NRF also expects that online and other non-store sales will increase between 10 to 12 percent from 2021.
