The increased rate of reliability problems for electric vehicles as compared to a gasoline- or diesel-powered vehicle, on average. Plug-in hybrids fared even worse, with 146 percent more issues than the conventional alternative. Conventional hybrids, however, had 26 percent fewer reliability problems than conventionally powered vehicles.
