The number of years in which Wisconsin students will be eligible to receive an additional $325 annually under Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers’ surprise veto, in which Evers changed budget documents from 2024-25 to 2425. This is not the first time that a governor has extended a limit for an unfathomable number of years; in 2019, then-Gov. Scott Walker extended a moratorium on HVAC-related school spending for 1,000 years.
