The number of Democratic lawmakers who took part in protests on the floor of the Tennessee Statehouse and who will face expulsion later this week. The protest was pushing for more gun control at the Capitol in the wake of the school shooting in Nashville last month. The last lawmaker to be expelled was in 2022 over wire fraud charges.
