The amount that electric utility PacifiCorp will pay to settle a lawsuit brought by approximately 220 Oregon customers who were harmed by catastrophic wildfires in 2020, which were among the state’s worst natural disasters ever. The fires killed nine people, burned more than 1,875 square acres and destroyed approximately 5,000 homes and other structures.
