The legislative tie in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives after state Rep. Sara Innamorato resigned on Wednesday, removing the razor-thin, one-seat majority the Democrats held for the first time in 12 years. Democratic Speaker Joanna McClinton immediately scheduled a special election to fill the Allegheny County seat for Sept. 19.
