What is Tulsa proposing?

The city of Tulsa proposes studying best practices for creating a built environment that spurs entrepreneurship and small business growth, while maintaining equity. This research would form the basis for efforts to further redevelop land in and around what was historically known as Black Wall Street. Additionally, the city is working to establish an online, multilingual resource portal that would provide open source information and data crucial to small business startups and entrepreneurs. its launch and operations. The portal would be informed by earlier work on a structural analysis and community engagement on how to dismantle racial inequities in our economic and social systems.
