Wes Guckert is president and chief executive officer of The Traffic Group, a 30-year-old engineering and transportation planning firm headquartered in White Marsh, Md. Since founding TTG, he has played a major role in more than 7,000 projects, directing the design and implementation of traffic-access systems throughout the United States and internationally.

Guckert, who holds Professional Transportation Planner certification, serves in a leadership position for one of the Urban Land Institute's national product councils and also is affiliated with the American Planning Association, the Institute of Transportation Engineers and the Transportation Research Board.
