Nigel Wilson has been group chief executive of Legal & General, a global financial services company, since 2012, having joined the company as group chief financial officer in 2009. Previously, he held positions at McKinsey & Co., Dixons Group, Stanhope Properties and other firms.

From 2015 to 2016, Wilson was a member of the British prime minister's Business Advisory Group. He has a degree in economics from the University of Essex and a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
