Nancy Brown has served since 2008 as chief executive officer of the American Heart Association. Under her leadership, the AHA has become a global authority on cardiovascular health as well as overall health and well-being. Brown also serves as co-chair of the Health Governors Community and as a member of the board of stewards of the World Economic Forum. Prior to being named the AHA's CEO, Brown served as its chief operating officer and has held multiple leadership positions since joining the association in 1986.
