Marian Currinder is the policy director for the government accountability portfolio at Transparency International-USA, responsible for developing and managing the organization’s domestic government accountability anti-corruption agenda, including federal and state laws and regulations to prevent public corruption and promote full disclosure of money spent in U.S. elections.
Before joining TI-USA, Currinder was the associate director of the Center for Political Accountability, where she engaged the corporate community on political transparency and accountability issues. Previously, she was senior fellow and curriculum director at Georgetown University's Government Affairs Institute, where she worked with members of Congress and congressional staff to explain political, policy and procedural issues to executive-branch officials.
Currinder received her bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University and her master's degree and Ph.D. in political science from the University of Florida.
