John Tillman is chairman and CEO of the Illinois Policy Institute, a nonprofit think tank he relaunched in 2007 that supports limited government and free-market principles. He is also the co-founder and chairman of the Liberty Justice Center and serves on the board of America's Future Foundation.
Previously, Tillman served as president of Americans for Limited Government and the Sam Adams Alliance. In 2011, he was the recipient of the State Policy Network’s annual Roe Award, which "pays tribute to those in the state public policy movement whose achievements have greatly advanced the free market philosophy."
