Daniel G. Haake is a nationally recognized transportation expert who has provided strategic advice to more than 40 local, state and federal agencies. His work focuses on using strategic transportation investments to create jobs and improve overall quality of life. At HDR, Haake works with clients to overcome infrastructure and policy impediments that hinder their ability to compete in the global marketplace.

Prior to becoming a consultant, Haake was a principal planner at the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission, where he led several high-profile initiatives including a multi-jurisdictional partnership that successfully alleviated congestion at the Rickenbacker Inland Port that now supports over 20,000 jobs.

Haake earned degrees in political science and urban planning from Ball State University, which in 2013 named him a Graduate of the Last Decade.
