Brittany Bennett is the development, policy and impact associate at Self-Help, a nonprofit community-development lender, real-estate developer and credit union in Durham, N.C. She is also an advisory board member for the Emerging Local Government Leaders Network and writes a monthly column, "The Outsider's View," for the organization's blog.
Bennett received a B.S. degree in anthropology and human biology from Emory University and a master of public administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
