Alaa Milbes is the communications director for Jobs to Move America, a nonprofit that promotes good job creation that counters climate change through public investment in infrastructure. Before joining JMA, she served as Oxfam's Media Officer in Jordan for the Syria crisis response. She also did communications work for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine refugees.
Milbes holds a bachelor's degree in political science and international studies from the University of California, Riverside, and a master's degree in Middle Eastern Studies from Columbia University.
