Adrienne Lindgren is an urban aviation innovation consultant for WSP USA, a leading engineering and professional services firm. She helps public- and private-sector clients address questions and find solutions related to aerial mobility technology and is actively engaged in research and development that advances the state of the practice.

Before joining WSP, Lindgren was the manager of economic and business policy in the office of Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, where she represented the city's interests in the drone, aerospace and manufacturing industries at a local and national level. She holds a B.A. from Scripps College and a master's degree in planning and economic development from the University of Southern California, and participated in an executive-education program in project finance at the London Business School.

Whether it's drones or flying cars, aerial innovation is happening. Governments need to think about regulation and strategy.
