Oregon OKs Medical Marijuana-Infused Sweets

April 3, 2014

The Oregon Health Authority on Monday issued revised rules for marijuana-infused products, allowing the sale of baked goods and other sweets but banning marijuana-laced sweets "attractive to minors."

The Medical Marijuana Dispensary Program recently issued draft rules that barred marijuana retailers from selling marijuana-infused products "manufactured in a form that resembles cake-like products, cookies, candy, or gum, or that otherwise may be attractive to minors because of its shape, color, or taste."
