New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, in response to the openly gay lawmaker Gusciora comparing him to former segregationist governors in the South. Christie came under fire for calling Gusciora "numb nuts" and also for comparing gay marriage to the civil rights struggle of the 1960s. He has since apologized for the latter.
