Governing and Living Cities look forward to our 3rd Annual Summit on Government Performance & Innovation (GPI) in collaboration with Mayor Greg Stanton and the City of Phoenix.
Together with keynotes, elected official and peer-to-peer discussions, the Summit is a one-of-a-kind forum that brings together innovators, change-agents, disrupters, and civic entrepreneurs – and all those interested in making government work better for local communities.
This year’s Summit will highlight new policy perspectives and practical implementation strategies around the groundbreaking Equipt to Innovate™ Framework. Developed by Living Cities in partnership with Governing, the framework lays out an integrated, collaborative, and evidence-based blue print for public sector innovation. The 7 Key Outcome Elements provide vital guideposts around which cities and public officials can anchor their innovation and performance strategies.
Through a series of dynamic and interactive sessions and workshops, you’ll learn more about the framework, where and how leaders are putting it to work in their innovation practice, and which cities are “best-Equipt to Innovate” based on our inaugural 2016 survey results.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to connect with peers and visionaries from around the country who are working to deliver better services, engage residents and improve government outcomes in their communities. Chief performance officers, chief innovation officers, chief data officers, community and economic development leaders, mayors and other elected officials will gather to share their insights and perspectives. Join us as we chart a new course for government performance and innovation!
Phoenix, in Greek mythology, is a long-lived bird that is cyclically regenerated or reborn. Like the bird, cities and states are long-lived and in a constant state of civic rebirth and regeneration.
Join us in Phoenix to become a Phoenix! The civic rebirth has begun.
