Katharyn M. White is senior vice president and general manager of MITRE Public Sector (MPS) at the MITRE Corp., a not-for-profit organization chartered to work in the public interest and manage federally funded research and development centers (FFRDCs) on behalf of the U.S. government. White sets strategy, direction and priorities and engages with key senior sponsors of the FFRDCs that MITRE operates for civilian government agencies. She also oversees MITRE's international programs.

Before joining MITRE, White spent 21 years at IBM, most recently as vice president of transformation in the company's Global Business Services, and held product manager and leadership roles with DuPont and Hewlett Packard. She holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Duke University and a master's degree in management from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
