Peter Shumlin has been re-elected Vermont governor by state Legislature, 110-69, over Republican challenger Scott Milne.

That's 61.5 percent for Shumlin, 38.5 for Milne.

Libertarian Dan Feliciano, the third-place finisher in the general election, received no votes Thursday in Montpelier.

Lawmakers were required to vote to select the governor after no candidate in the November general election received more than 50 percent of the popular vote. Shumlin, the incumbent, received a plurality but not enough for the outright win.
