Moore made the remark as officials said the project is moving at an unusually rapid pace, with permitting completed in months instead of years and design work advancing quickly. The bridge, which collapsed in March 2024 after a cargo ship strike, once carried more than 30,000 vehicles daily and remains a critical link for the Port of Baltimore and the region’s transportation network.
