The number of states in which taxpayers will have additional time to file their federal returns. Residents in all or part of states that have experienced natural disasters automatically qualify for additional time, with their returns mostly due on May 1. Residents of Los Angeles County have until Oct. 15, while those in Kentucky and parts of West Virginia can wait until Nov. 3.
