Hal Taylor, a member of the board's enforcement division, told the AP that videos on YouTube show that the candies quickly soaking up vodka, and there have been instances of children in other states receiving alcohol-laced candy. He also noted that gummy bears in particular can mask the taste of alcohol.
Taylor also recommends parents be cautious of any apparent tampering with the candy's packaging, according to the news agency.
