Thad Kousser, a political scientist who says the current and former governors running for president will be hurt in the primary by their moderate politics and policies. Two governors have already entered the 2020 race -- Jay Inslee of Washington and John Hickenlooper of Colorado -- and Montana's Steve Bullock is expected to join this week.
