The number of years since the last time a Native American, a Native Alaskan and a Native Hawaiian were all members of the U.S. House of Representatives at one time. The streak ended on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022, when Rep. Mary Peltola, a Native Alaskan, was sworn into office. Now there are six Indigenous Americans who are serving as representatives in the House.
