Evan Bayh, a Democrat, served as governor of Indiana from 1989 to 1997 and represented the state in the U.S. Senate from 1999 to 2011. He currently serves as a senior adviser to Apollo Global Management. He received his law degree from the University of Virginia and his bachelor's degree in business and economics from Indiana University at Bloomington.
