Viral Chawda, managing director of data and analytics at KPMG, has advised large government and commercial organizations for the past 19 years on how to make best use of their data and analytics assets by aligning their strategies to clearly defined outcomes.
Chawda's government experience includes helping state and federal agencies identify potential improper fund and resource allocation through the use of data mining and pattern recognition. He also helped a state transportation department reduce fatal accidents through the use of strategic and operational analytics involving multiple departments.
