Octavia Abell is the co-founder and CEO of Govern For America, a nonprofit that works to bring the next generation of leaders into government. Before launching the organization, she served as director of strategy for the Rhode Island Office of Innovation and on Gov. Gina Raimondo's policy team.
Abell was named to Forbes' 2020 "30 Under 30" list of top young entrepreneurs in the law and policy category. She holds a bachelor's degree in political economy and international development from Tulane University.
