This is from a 13th Floor field operative (okay, "reader"), Chris:

I have no idea if this rises to the level of outside interest. but just too funny here locally in Pittbsburgh. Local City Councilman starts a blog and then promptly tries to delete it only to have his site name taken by someone else who re-posts his original content. Gets to some deeper issues of local officials dipping their toes into the blogosphere as it were.

The councilman's name is Jim Motzik. Here's a story about the whole thing. The blog -- which you can read here -- is now being called Notzik (those clever bloggers!).

The whole thing's pretty funny, and a good reminder that once you've written something -- even online -- it's next to impossible to un-write it.
