Governors have been ahead of the federal government on certain policy changes for years. But one of the most prevalent issues where the states are out front is the current drive on climate change.

To that end, a bipartisan group of three governors is appearing in a $3 million television ad campaign, launching Tuesday, to pressure Congress to move quickly on approving climate-change legislation. The ads feature Republican governors Arnold Schwarzenegger of California and Jon Hunstman of Utah, and Democratic Gov. Brian Schweitzer of Montana.
