Well, the current New York magazine, in the category of analyzing public officials' displays of affection, offers this breathless account of New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg's smooch style.

Apparently, Hizzoner's started greeting folks with a Euro-friendly one-two buss.

What's it all mean? Is Bloomberg's smooch style sending signals that he's a man of the Continent? Is he an elitist? Or is he just being nice? At any rate, Bloomberg's side-swap smack smacks a little more EU than NYC.
