Eight States Launch Anti-Meth Websites

Eight states have launched websites aimed at reducing meth use, especially among teens and in western states where the epidemic has been the strongest, according to the Idaho Statesman.

Idaho along with Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Montana and Wyoming each have their own 'Meth Project' website, which show the risks associated with the drug. The images and information on the website are hard for users to ignore -- and sometimes even look at. Darren Aronofsky, the director of the dark and critically acclaimed "Black Swan," directed the graphic public-service ads set to air on national television. 

Since the Idaho Meth Project launched in 2008, meth use among teens has fallen by more than 50 percent, according to the Statesman.
