Steven Pedigo is the director of the Schack Institute of Real Estate Urban Lab at New York University and a clinical professor of economic development at the NYU School of Professional Studies. He is also a partner at Resonance Consultancy, an advisory services firm that shapes city, tourism and development strategies. As an expert in urban economic development, regional cooperation and placemaking, he has developed strategies for an array of cities and regions in the United States and other countries.

Pedigo holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin and graduate degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
