For over 26 years, Mr. Tuck has dedicated himself to the county of San Diego, holding former positions as Deputy Chief Administrative Officer for the County’s Public Safety Group and Director of San Diego County’s Department of Housing & Community Development.  He comes to the Governing Institute from his latest position fellow at the Center for government Technology and before that as Chief Information Officer for San Diego County’s Technology Office.  There, he oversaw operational and strategic Information Technology functions for the County, providing services to 17,000 employees at over 200 facilities.
